Our Nurse Practitioners

Tim Ray, DNP, CNP, CNN-NP
We are fortunate to have had Tim with our practice since 1999.  He has both a Masters and Nursing Doctorate from Case Western Reserve University (CWRU).   He is a Board Member of the CNN-NP and Test Writing Committee, NNCC; and on the clinical faculty at CWRU, Kent State University and Ursuline College.   He is a published author on nephrology. Tim is a natural leader.  He founded and coordinates a professional group of nephrology nurse practitioners in the greater Cleveland area.  In addition, Tim works closely with various patient-centered kidney organizations locally and nationally, such as the NKF,  ANNA, and The Renal Network.  He brings to bear a profound knowledge of nephrology and hypertension to each patient under his care.

Lisa Stevens, MSN, CNP
Lisa is a focused and energetic Nurse Practitioner.  Her past experience in the Cleveland Clinic's ICU is an ideal background for a nephrology NP.  Her bright smile and sharp mind is a powerful combination. You can look forward to seeing her collaborating with your CKHC doctor and others on your  medical team, at the hospital or at the dialysis center, with a holistic approach to your care.

Jill Buttolph, MSN, CNP
Jill worked as an ICU nurse for nine years where she mastered care for critically ill adult patients. She sailed through Nurse Practitioner school and joined us in 2015.  She's very understanding and smart.
You feel at ease talking to Jill.  She works under the guidance of your doctor at the hospital or dialysis center, to hear your concerns and address them in a timely, professional manner, with compassion. In her free time Jill enjoys cooking for friends and family, participating in amateur photography,  and snow skiing during the winter months. She also loves spending time vacationing with her family at Hilton Head Island in South Carolina.

Satinder Dhillon-Dougher, MSN, CNP
For 18 years Satinder was a highly regarded, caring nurse in the PACU, CCU, CICU and/or CV-ICU.  Building on that strong foundation, she became a Certified Nurse Practitioner and received her Adult/Gerontology Masters of Science in Nursing in 2017.  She joined us immediately thereafter.  Satinder is thorough in reviewing your medical history, current conditions and the medicines you're taking.  She collaborates with your team of physicians outside of our practice, under the tutelage of your doctor here at CKHC.   She has a sweet way of putting patients at ease, conveying a feeling of trust.  When she's not with patients, Satinder cherishes the time she spends with her growing family.

Our Support Staff

Holly, Medical Assistant: Holly works closely with the doctors to help you at the office or when you're calling from home.   Holly also coordinates with Cleveland Clinic's Chronic Care Services, as needed, under the doctors' guidance.  She's very exacting when it comes to your medicine list, and we know you could have quite a long list, so her meticulousness is very much appreciated!  If the doctor orders it, she'll  fit you with a high tech, 24-hour blood pressure monitor, one of the latest technologies we employ to help determine the proper treatment plan for patients with difficult-to-control blood pressure.

Candy, Medical Assistant:
Candy is a seasoned MA who moved back to Cleveland after eight years as an MA in North Carolina.  She is the cheerful face that greets you at the window. Before you see the doctor, Candy makes sure your insurance verifies so you don't get stuck with unnecessary bills.  If you have had medical tests since your last visit, let Candy know so she can pass the results to the doctor - no need to duplicate tests you have already had.  And finally, Candy will gladly pass your collection of medicines in their original bottles to Lauren or Tinia so they can update your records while you wait for the doctor.  When your doctor is ready to see you, everything will have been prepared for your  conversation with him about your medications and how they effect your test results/your health, and his plan for your well-being.  It all starts with Candy!

Lauren Lydic, LPN:   Lauren has always had an interest in helping others. After seven years as a nursing assistant, she pursued her dream of becoming a nurse. She graduated at the top of her class from Willoughby-Eastlake School of Practical Nursing and worked for four years in primary care at Lake Health. Now at CKHC Lauren handles several responsibilities.  For example, she prepares your chart for your visit before you arrive, and during your visit she takes your vital signs and reviews your medications with you, making sure everything is up to date. These are the important foundations for your visit with the doctor.  She does all this and more, efficiently and with a smile!

Tinia, Medical Assistant: From a young age Tinia had an interest in science and healthcare. She started her medical career as a nursing assistant in the oncology department at Cleveland Clinic. She learned a lot as a nursing assistant but wanted to do more.  She enrolled in, and graduated from, the Medical Assistant program of CIDMA. Now she loves being part of our CKHC team taking care of you.  Tinia sees to it you are well served from the moment you arrive to when they’re ready to make your next appointment. She looks forward to seeing you again!

Patti, Physicians' Administrative Assistant/Insurance Biller:
Patti has over 20 years experience in the medical field. As a seasoned professional, she is here to help make sure your insurance company follows through on their commitment to you and to us.

Sharon C., Phone Receptionist/Patient Accounts: Sharon routes your calls to the right person and answers your questions about your statement.  She is a pleasure to talk to.  Sharon will also help you understand your bill if you have questions.  She is very patient and will explain the world of primary and secondary insurance.  If you have any concerns about your bill- just give Sharon a call.  She's at extension 711.

Jan, Assistant Manager/Billing Supervisor: Jan has been with the practice for over 20 years, since Dr. Lautman was a solo practitioner!  She oversees multiple processes in our office and handles all issues with sensitivity.

Teri,

Manager: Teri has supported the phenomenal growth of our practice, coordinating all of our staff and services, and introducing new technologies that allow us to serve you in the most up to date methods.  She works behind the scenes to ensure that we, as a team, provide the best service to you.
