Corona Virus (COVID19) Outbreak Response
We at CKHC take our responsibility very seriously when it comes to your health; this was true before the Corona virus (COVID19) outbreak, and continues to be our priority.
CKHC is taking action to protect the health and safety of both our employees and patients. We want you to be aware of these changes and appreciate your partnership during this challenging time.
We are closely monitoring and following the guidance available through the Centers for Disease Control (CDC) and the Ohio Department of Health (ODH).
Screening: All visitors and employees are screened at the building's entrance.
Cleaning: We are enforcing disinfectant measures to keep the virus out of our office as much as possible. This includes frequent washing or sanitizing our hands.
Masks: Everyone must wear a face mask when entering the building and while you are here. Employees may take them off while at their desks.
Social Distancing: *The waiting room is spread out to provide limited contact between people. Magazines have been removed.
*The en-suite bathroom is for employees only. Please use your restroom at home before you come in, however, there is a public handicap accessible bathroom off the main hall.
*Our main office in Euclid remains open. The Geauga and Hillcrest office will be open on a limited basis to prevent close contact with other people in those smaller waiting rooms. *Patients are allowed up to one companion if absolutely necessary. No children are allowed.
Telehealth Visits for your Convenience:
For those patients that prefer a telephone or video conference office visit can be arranged in lieu of an onsite visit. These visits are called telehealth visits. They are as comprehensive as possible and will be charged to your insurance like a normal office visit. Most insurances are providing standard coverage under your existing policy for telehealth visits.
We are fully operational, with full office hours. However, our Hillcrest Atrium office and our Geauga Office visits have been moved to either telehealth or our main office in Euclid. If your physician feels as though you should have a telehealth visit instead of an onsite visit, we will contact you to make that arrangement. Don't postpone your telehealth or in-office appointments unless your doctor says it's ok.
Our mission is to provide our patients with exceptional service and we will be doing everything possible to serve you with the same quality of care you always receive from us.
Stay safe and stay healthy!
